Introduction

Hi everyone, welcome to this blog that I am writing about computer building. The blog will be in the context of my own experiences with building a desktop pc, mine was specially made for gaming purposes but a power computer can be used to do any task. I hope that this blog will be helpful to those who want to build their own computer and are not sure about how to do it.

To begin, every computer is different. This can mean many different things from aesthetic to internals. It all depends on what you need your computer to do and what you are going to be using it for.

The computer that i built was especially made with gaming in mind so I knew that it had to be powerful to be able to run the games that I wanted to play and also be able to keep up with the times and the power that newer games require.

It is imperative to do plenty of research before you make the mistake of going and buying a bunch of high power components to run Microsoft Excel.(If that's all you need a computer for then a normal 200-300€ business laptop should do fine.) There are lots of content creators on YouTube who have plenty of useful information and reliable reviews regarding specific parts. The ones that I would recommend are LinusTechTips and JayzTwoCents(I will link both channels at the bottom of the post). You should build up knowledge about parts and what they do and also which are best suited for you before you go buying anything. Computer parts are expensive, you want to make sure you do it right.

That will be all for my first entry of 6, thank you for taking the time and reading, I will be going into further detail about everything in the next few entries. If you have any questions don't hesitate to comment and I will answer them to the best of my abilities.
